Central tx | I farm and work as a teacher and bus driver at a local school district. My time at home is pretty limited although I make it a priority. Have spent the last couple of weeks teaching and driving the bus and all the time after school has been spent spraying or getting ready for prom. Needless to say I have not been home much lately.
Today we went to church and afterwards to our local favorite mexican food place. Out of the blue, my four year old looks at me and says, "Daddy, this is the best day ever!" I asked why and he responded "because you are going to be home all day and we are going to check the crops later." My eyes started to water and it wasn't from the hot sauce. I know kids live for the moment and can't see much other than the "right now", but it meant the world to me. | |
