Cow calved Monday.  Had been in good flesh and healthy.  Saw calf sucking.  Didn't like the way she looked Tuesday, lethargic and not eating very good.  Called the Vet Wednesday and got her up and started treating.  Went out this morning, was going to supplemental feed the calf.  Calf is dead and cow is down.  Took, the 4 wheeler out to check the rest of the cows and sheep.  Coyotes got a ewe last night.  Honda 250 electric shift is suddenly became a non-shift and hanging in second.  Finally got back to the shed.  Just about afraid to see what the rest of the day is gonna bring.
