Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
I have some 8.3 engines that are Cummins, and some other ones in Magnum tractors. Same thing with 5.9s. It would be nice to be able to get parts from either dealer for either engine, but they use just slightly different part #s. (Kind of like Napa/Wix filters are almost the same number) For example: a front pulley/dampener for a 7250 Magnum is a Case J925568. So if I ordered it through Cummins would the number be similar? Same thing the other way around. Seems they have multiple part numbers for the exact same part sometimes and thought there might be a code between Case/Cummins numbering. Anyone know?
