central Ia. | Ran an ad to hire a driver got a lot of responses hired a kid that we thought would fit what we needed, told him we wanted to wait a week to start him, had some things we wanted to do to the truck. Plus we needed to get his MVR run thru our insurance, he said no problem. Texted me non-stop all week to make sure all was good. Got the truck all finished up today, loads lined up for next week, called to tell him he could come pick the truck up tomorrow and get info on the loads, no answer tried several times today to reach him. Finally at 6:00 tonight he texts me and says well I got another offer so I won't need the job. Freakin great all of the other people sent me text that were interested in the job and I erased them thinking we had someone, my fault for not writing them down and having a back up. Oh well live and learn, don't expect anyone to keep their word anymore. | |
