Subject: Playing Chicken ??

East Central South Dakota
I get the feeling the corn market is caught up in a game of chicken. Most/not all/ farmers that have corn in the bins are sitting in a good cash position and 2013 expenses prepaid and really don't have to sell. The end user has some supply left/some trickling in and is fighting poor margins (ethanol or animal) and really doesn't have to crush or grind if they are already loosing money, they could shut down. DEMAND DESTRUCTION VS. MARKET SUPPLY----- PRODUCED AND CONTROLLED BY MR. PRICE. Could turn into a fight that everyone looses. Long term Demand destruction and then long term over supply. Mother nature is going to have last say---- all i know is I HAVE A FRONT ROW SEAT. Next year at this time i might be crying in my beer. MR. PRICE'S ASSISTANT MR. BASIS might be my only friend in a couple of months.
