western iowa,by Denison | Well its been a steady grind to no where on the fat cattle-March 2012 was the high so far on Feb2013 board-135?Today we are at $130-and unfortunatly if you contract fat cattle for Jan delivery your price is set off feb. Just seems like that 200 plus box beef is hard to maintain-starting to wonder if we could have this price $1.30 be kinda the bench mark-even if we have a shortage of beef -just puts the skids on no matter if theres a shortage-so much for asking $5 more and will be pulling the plug soon-if I can get the buyers to bid more then 2 hours on Friday-when my cell phone goes down! | |
