Baldwin City, KS | We didn't plant much wheat this fall. I have 75 acres where I would like to double crop some kind of a forage crop. It is farther than what I want to probably haul silage, so I am looking at something to mow, rake and bale. I figured some kind of sorghum/sudan, but didn't know what all is out there. I remember sudan being a real pain back when my dad used it. I am open to anything that will make me some dry forage for the cows that can be planted in late June or early July. Suggestions? Thanks. | |
