| Hi:
Have a White 2-155 with Hercules Engine. Do not use the tractor for much heavy pulling,
mainly swathing, and on pull type combine. Tractor has about 4500 hrs. Last season
tractor blow by increased big time - oil consumption seems high at less than full RPM's,
and less than full load ( 2L/ 1/2 Gal after about 1.5 hrs at 1600 RPM)....
Afraid of full rebuild (cost) - has been suggested that just looking at the head (Valve guides) might
be first place to look given high blow by, coming on quick....
Any advice/suggestions?
