Subject: 6.0l Powerstroke finally "ahot craps"

I've either blown a head gasket or crakced a head (?). Took it in for an oil change and smelled scourched anti-freeze and they said there was zero [coolant] in it, but the temp. gauge never indicated anything abnormal(?). Then it started acting sluggish the day after the oil change (could this be from having coolant back in the system?). At stop signs and stop lights it would blow black smoke for a short distance and then clear up (like a new Dodge diesel does all the time at take-off/acceleration :-), same when passing a car. Now, it has started blowing white smoke continuously. It didn't an hour or so ago, but when I got back in it and started it...white smoke everywhere! I assume it is burning anti-freeze. Is it burning what leaked into the combustion chamber? If so, will it burn off and clear up somewhat so I can drive it to the dealership without the smog warnings going off?
