blairsville,pa | sittin in a tree stand, i'm a little cold/bored and was sittin here wonderin what everybody's routine is? "here" boomstick season starts the first monday after thanksgiving and lasts 2 weeks. So sunday nite the 8 or so of us watch football drink, and cook. 4am monday all the crock pots get moved to the old milkhouse and we build a fire. everybody sits most of first day other than sneakin in 2 eat/warm up/tell lies. then we all meet up @ the "dust bowl" an old shell pile and start drivin out the thickets. Uusually by the end of the day we are back in the milkhouse eating/drinkin beer/telling li es, I look foward to gun season alot get to see guys I only see once a year. This is the 4th year of our little tradition since I bought the farm where I call home. my only regret is I can never get dad to come. So what do ya'll do??? | |
