Subject: Do I want a chopping corn head??

North-East Texas
We are a wheat/corn rotation for the most part. After corn harvest I want to spread my dry fertilizer, (spray if necessary), turbo till, and then plant wheat with a JD no till air seeder. Question is would it be better to have a chopping head or non chopping? I like the way chopping heads look post harvest but im not sure if I would be gaining anything considering the 12K added cost to add chopping to the header.

Thanks.
