Subject: Getting them bred back

Breckinridge Co. , Kentucky
Bought a small group of first calf heifers that need some groceries. 2 month old calves on them look good and cows seem to be milking well but they are thin, think at least bcs score of 3. What would be the best option to try to put some weight back on them while with the bull? Story behind this bunch is that the owner found out that he had cancer and passed away, wife never put bull back in with spring cows and ran out of pasture. Calm set that will walk right up to you and eat out of your hand, probably because they were hungry. Really would like to get them settled back to calve on time. Part of the calves will dive right in the feed bunk with the cows, may put creep in now to help out the cows.
