East Central Ia | I was roading the tractor to the field after getting the chisel plow ready to go and kept smelling something burning.
When i stopped i got out and walked around and found a pile of corn cobs that get flung out of the combine on the right side of the engine on top of the exhaust manifold behind the turbo. There wasnt any open flames but they were burning and smoldering good.
Not much there to catch fire but it sure made me think.
For running these machines on grain carts a vuy really should have the extra side shields.
Any drawbacks to putting them on? I am going to look into it next week.
