Subject: Truckstop in clearwater MN?



western mn		Somebody asked me what the name of that great truckstop, bakery, restuarant in Clearwater was today and I drew a blank... Can anyone help me out, thanks...

Clearwater Travel Plaza is the name . .  .
Holiday has been buying the fuel portions of area independants. They bought a bunch from Coborns fuel and now are holiday or serviced by holiday.
Nelson Brothers is the resturant / bakery part of the Plaza . . . .

NE Illinois		We used to stop there for breakfast when we would come home from lake country.

Rivers, MB		I'd agree. Problem is that I drove past it for 3 years (couple trips / year) and didn't know about it till my last time going past there. Grrrrr. They have the biggest donuts i've ever seen!

Petro 2 is the truckstop part, Nelson's is the bakery/resturant, Holiday is the gas part.

I thought the food was just ok. Didn't have any baked goods.

Rather go to Keith's Kettle about a block north of there. The owner Keith is often there, even on weekends, and seems like a nice guys who appreciates the business.
