Subject: Documenting late planted cover crops

SE IL and SW IN
For those of you who have planted some cover crops late, after October 1 in the corn belt, would you take the time to document the particulars:

Species /varieties when known
Planting date
Seeding method
Emergence date
Location
Crop rotation
Abnormal weather ( wet/dry)
Other factors that might enhance/reduce performance
Pictures after Dec. 1. or April 1 if it is overwintering
E-mail it to me

My plan is to get some help in organizing this information so that it can be retrieved for future reference to say when asked "will this work" direct the questioner to this data saying, "John Smith at XYZ, IL had this in 2012 with 521 GDU's after emergence. You decide.

Thanks, My e-mail is good
