| I have a decent canoe that floats most of the time,,,and a 97 Olds Silhouette van . Realizing its an old van but not dead yet,,,would like it to transfer to my next ride maybe. Looking to haul canoe to the puddle and back on top. Always used a pee-cup before but short one right now.
My van has a 3 sided little rail up there now,,,thinking I need a bar across front and back for it to set down on and hopefully I can find something decent to tie it down to.
Somebody told me once just throw it on top and tie it down,,,,but would hate to wear a hole right thru the paint for a rust spot. Van might turn a 100K real soon so should last a while yet. Anybody haul a canoe on a car or suv????? | |
