Thompsontown, Pennsylvania | what are you guys seeing yield wise on pioneer wheat varieties this year? i have planted a little pioneer in years past but am looking at upping my wheat acres next year and trying some more pioneer and sales rep says if you want pioneer wheat, nows the time to order or its gone. Looking for one or two later maturity varieties, higher yield, heavy ground, will use fungicide and split apply nitrogen, and probably get a little dairy manure either preplant in fall or topdressed in jan-march. Was looking at 25r39 and 25r34.....TIA Kyle |
