northwest missouri | Question for geothermal owners - I have a geothermal system on house that has been installed for a few years now that doesn't seem to operate very efficiently, especially in summer. Four coils of piping installed 6-7 foot deep in yard, good grass cover but not shaded. When the installer put the system in, the pipe from the house to the coils came furnished with a four barb manifold, one going to each coil, and the same for the return. Set up this way it seems it would be possible for the fluid in the system to only circulate through one coil instead of having to go through the complete length of the geothermal system. I am wondering if this is the problem. Any other system owners know how theirs are set up? | |
