North Mo. | Ok so I am late putting my shades up, its not fall yet. Any way my idea for strapping the shades last year didn't work so well, so we are thinking of tarp straps for each 2 grommets. We need to get recommendations for straps. Looked on the web some are natural rubber others are synthetic compound supposed to be more UV resistant. They are twice the price but I really don't care as, if a shade goes Chrispher Columbus would have died for that size of a sail 20 x 40 ft. And it will rip grommets like butter.
The first year we individually tied with twine worked ok but hard to get even tension. Thought last year use nylon rope and string through grommets, no good period, when it breaks the whole thing goes flying. Thus the idea of the straps, the builder and I thought it might be more ok. Ben | |
