northern MN | We are one of the fortunate ones. While dry we have been hand to mouth on our rain events and the crops really look quite nice. My question of you is about navy beans, its been a few years since I had any significant acres and seems my momeory isnt as good as it could be. We finished putting on 2oz of Raptor and rezutlz at .8pt I was going to culitvate but the fields are fairly clean and the ground is nice and flat. Being flat is important to us, we take the navys straight with a 635 head. I made a round with the cultivator and it does cultivate pretty flat with a few lumps in the wheel tracks but not bad. Now for the question, would you cultivate? I am assumeing the raptor will do its job and cultivating will bring up untreated soils. What would you do? I'm leaning towards leaving it... I hope that doesnt sway your advise.
