Subject: If crop insurance zeros out a corn field.....


NW Ohio
.....does the USDA still count those acres as planted? If they consider those acres planted, do they then give those acres a zero yield? If there are a lot of those type of acres, will the USDA ever make these adjustments? Or do they completely ignore the facts? With news that there are corn fields without ears already, and probably more to come, this number could really change USDA's final numbers........Thoughts?
