N/C Montana | Am jealous of TNT Tom. Any suggestions welcomed. Are plants too close together? Fertilized sparingly to keep from getting too tall. Dad likes candy corn but blows over often. 50 mph here is a breeze. Try not to water before a good blow but still goes over. Often end up with decent looking plants but small 2/3 filled ears. Usually matures last of Aug/first of Sept so GDD seem adequate but end product is underwhelming. What there is of it is good but production normally poor.
