"sort of a rhetorical question fellas the big corn states are in good shape"

"exactly, the 4-5 % who havent received a rain"

"where does Ind stack up nationally for corn production? is it top5?"

take a look here...........two day totals.........anything in neon green and up probably got enough to count for a few days.........looks to be maybe 30% at best...........everything else will be gone by Tuesday which means 70% are probably not looking forward to this.........

now anyone can spin anything they want..........and the markets may or may not respond right now or even in the near future or at all..........who knows..........but to bury your head in the sand and think this crop is running down the right track pretty much makes you look foolish..........and thinking the market is going south because of it is just as foolish..........just like in 2010 when everyone had their head in the sand, except for a select few.........

again, three more weeks and we will know, as a great percentage of this crop will be pollinating and we will have a hint of what the rest of July weather holds............

if you took time to read the link I put up twice now about June and July weather...........you will see that the models had been saying the last part of June into the first week of July could be hot...........and above normal in July is HOT.........heck NORMAL in JULY is HOT, above is miserable............

this corn is ready to hit road gear and is sucking air already...........

on the bright side, another week and no rain we wont have to worry about the corn crop here, she will be done before the 4th..........check that one off the list..........

We can revisit this in 3 weeks...........later
