Subject: fall burndowns and inline ripping

IL
I am looking at doing more fall burndown this yr ( if it ever rains again), and also want to cover several acres with an inline ripper. Here is my dilema.... I would like the ripper be ready to run right after the fall dry fert. goes on, shortly after combining, but I would prefer to not to drive over the loosened ground with the sprayer. I don't want to wait till later to rip after spraying either.... get the dirt work done when the ground is fit. For those who do either, or , both, how do you make it work.
