SW WI | I am working on a small project in one of my barns, replacing some rotted out wood railroad ties that were used to protect cattle water fountains. I want to replace with the metal posts you see in barns now but am having trouble finding some. Seems like factories want to deal with builders and not individuals. I've tried Norbco and freudenthal. Anyone got a supplier that has some on hand? I'm in western WI. Looking for 3" x7' with cap. Sounds like I will have to place an order (month out) if I can't find some on hand at a farm supply place.
