 This field had the same crusting problems as mentioned in the following post.

 The corn was planted on 5/3 with 31000 seeds / acre. When i checked the stand on 5/17 16700 plants had emerged. The accumulated gdd`s based on the 2" soil temperature was 160. Normally most of the plants should have emerged by then.
 On 5/18 we ran the rotary hoe at a speed of about 8.5 mph.
 After that it got some rain.

 On 5/28 i did some stand counts and came up with 26000 ave plants per acre.
 As you would expect some plants are further along than others.
