Great Southern, Western Australia | Has anybody upgraded their MT 800 A or B to all HID? If so, what wattage did you use? We were thinking 55W on front lights and 35 on the remaining worklights. I wasn't sure if the standard wiring is sufficient or not. I realise there is a higher current draw on startup. Can somebody tell me if the current draw (once lit) is the same between say a 55W halogen globe and a 55W HID? I know my basic application of physics says it should be but I wasn't sure what effect the ballast resistor has on current draw? |
