Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | Anyone know where to get (brand ?), bananas that have not been picked so green ?? I suspect they do that to extend shelf life, but they sure are awful bananas. They are small and very green, so green they never get full size and never a nice firm yellow sweet banana.
The last bunch (Dole brand), at my local small town grocery store are especially awful. They were so very green, never got ripe,they went from green to black. Some are a mix if green with black spots, taste awful.
Is there any brand/ place to still get a banana that was picked when near mature so it can become a big yellow, good tasting banana ? My rant for the day.
