South Dakota | I posted this but a mistake and Ag talk Café, so will repost it here. I have been trying to make some good tasting brown and wild rice but can't seem to get it right. I have been dry frying in butter, then adding beef broth and salt-and-pepper, but it is missing something. It is also a little on the dry side, is there anybody that can help me with a good recipe. I have learned that it takes me about an hour to cook the rice is this right?
It surprises me that I am asking this, as I used to hate rice as when I was in the service that's all we got when I was in Okinawa. I said I would never eat rice again but here I am asking how to do it. :-) |
