Subject: Lowboy trailer brakes take too long to release?

Mid-Missouri
I tightened up the trailer brakes a month ago because they were wearing and not braking enough. I did it with the semi full of air pressure with the trailer up and tightened them down and backed them off about 1/2 turn. The wheels would spin freely in the air at this point.

Ever since doing so, it takes maybe 10 seconds for the trailer brakes to release with the truck at something like 80 psi. They release slightly quicker at 120 psi. Even our newer Timptes will release at 60 psi quicker than this trailer at 100 psi. What do I need to look at. It used to release at 60 psi w/o any trouble. And no, nothing is frozen!!!
