tennessee | We were and wished we were not. My brother in law and his girlfriend came to visit from Colorado. They are in thier early 30's and wanted to check out Nashville on NYE. I had never been up there for NYE, so my wife and I went along, thought it might be kinda fun downtown--wrong! Never have I been in such a crowd of people in my life that were so rude and stumbling drunk. We were caught right next to 2 fights, one as we walked out of a restaurant after eating supper and another in the middle of a large crowd of people down by the riverfront. The last one scared all of us, I truely thought it was gonna turn into a riot situation. After that, I told the rest that I was leaving with or without them--they agreed and came along. I'll never go back up there again. Could have had a much better time right here at home with a bonfire and a few friends and drinks. My advise--stay far, far away from Nashville, Tn. on NYE. Hope you all have a great 2012! | |
