Subject: Starfire 300 not compatible with SF1?

This was our first year with a John Deere brown box. We have only used it as a yield monitor and to do some yield mapping (we have the processor). Since today was the last day we would be able to upgrade to SF1 autotrac we went ahead and ordered the activation. After talking to our dealer we were told we need the ATU so we can switch it between the planter and the combine and we would need a new globe. We were given a Starfire 300 with our basic brown box setup, is this not compatible with autotrac? If not what do I need to purchase for the upgrade an itc or 3000? I'm waiting on some prices from the dealer but he didn't tell me exactly which globe he would be pricing me and I want to compare to some used ones I have found online.
