In your own words,

How should a fellow word a question to my Discount Brokerage ( http://www.tdwaterhouse.ca/products-services/investing/index.jsp ) concerning the safety of the my stocks held with them ?

With the sh*t MF Global pulled off :(

I`am somewhat worried about brokers and their methods of investing.
