| I read with interest the thread on cell tower rental rates a few days ago. I'm in a similar predicament, the exception being I already have a cell phone tower on my farm land and the present owner of the tower wants to sell the tower and the lease to another company a long ways from Minnesota. I started out at $150 a month in 2005 with a provision of getting a 15% raise every 5 years. At the time we were eager to get better cell phone service so I basically jumped in without giving much thought to the fairness of the rent. 3 acres of farmland is involved although they let me farm as much as I can. I'm dragging my feet on signing a lease at those same numbers. I need some input. BTW I'm in west central Minnesota. Thanks | |
