We just bought an 87 T600 KW a few weeks back, getting ready to put a coat of paint on it and put it on the road.  The hood has a few cracks and up by the cab its a little busted up.  It doesn't really look too bad, but if I am going to spend the money to paint it, I'd like a good hood on it.  My question is this; will a hood from a T800 fit it?  There are two hoods in a yard not far from here, one is from an 88 T800 the other is from a 91 T800 high hood (looks like a W900 with a set back rear axle).  Anyone ever hear of doing this?  I could just buy a new hood, but these would be a lot cheaper... and you get more chrome!
