Subject: Case IH corn heads

Nevada, Iowa
I have been running a Deere head for about 30 years. What can y'all tell me about CIH corn heads? It looks like the newer versions run a different knife than compared to a 8 -9 or 1000 series header. Does the knife style on the 2200 or 2400 series dice up the stalks as well as the older headers? I also remember reading that there were some gearbox issues on the 900 or 1000 series heads, did that get resolved with the newer styles. Are the New Holland headers basically the same as CIH? Finally, is anyone running a newer CIH on a Deere combine and how do you like it?
