After another 2.5" of rain, it appears that I probably won't get any more wheat drilled this year but I still have about 140 bushel of treated seed wheat in a wagon. Does anyone know of a good source of bulk seed bags (or used pro boxes)?

We've got some bulk seed bags that we don't know what to do with. You can have them. Just don't know how they're gonna get to you.

Stop over to Prattville Jason, if they haven't disposed of their bulk bags yet I think Mike will give you a few. They are cheap and get trun out after use.

Thanks. I was going to check with Mike or with Tim at Munson tomorrow. Just thought I'd be a little proactive in case they didn't have any. Hope you've made decent progress over there.

Not much progress here, the beans were just getting ripe a few days before this rain. We only have one field of wheat sown.

Don't give up on the wheat just yet. We will sow wheat in the next 3 weeks if we can.

Sorry to hear that. We've had to wait on some beans too which is why I'm not done with wheat yet. Down to about 140 of soys to go though(out of 480) and yields have been good. With Oct 30 being the end of the insurance period and the ability to collect a percentage of the PP claim while still being able to plant a spring crop, I don't know how much more wheat I'll drill. Gonna have to be a lot of drying between now and the 30th to be able to run the drill!

I finished planting wheat at 2:45 Monday night, at least on the ground where the soybeans are harvested. I'm sure glad I did as it started raining Tuesday morning and hasn't quit yet. We planned to have wheat in another field but that doesn't look like it will happen.
