| The dry weather is sure conducive to getting corn harvested. Back on May 18th when I was pushing hard to finish planting corn before yet another rain, if anyone would have said that we would be harvesting 14% corn on Oct. 15, I would have suggested that their brain was water logged. But the heat, wind and low humidity in late September / early October really dried the crops out. I've enjoyed all the photos on the board, so I thought I would share a few pics from this weekend. Yields are very good (unlike soybeans) and it certainly doesn't hurt not to be using any $1.80/gal LP for drying.
