1st year planting both of these varieties. Planted at about 150K in 30" rows. Got extremely tall (4' +) and are falling all over themselves- started a couple weeks back and is getting progressively worse. These varieties were planted on my most fertile/ highly productive farms. Any body else notice this with these numbers this year- or maybe I've gone overboard with the fertility. The other varieties I planted don't seem to be lodging.
Any hints on combining lodged soybeans? Traded for a header with hydraulic fore/aft- old one was manual adjust- when I saw this happening out there. Looks like a yellow/green ocean with 2' waves.
Asgrow 2330, 2131 lodging?
