Frytown, Iowa | God has blessed our garden with gobs of tomatoes....
so we have made 57 pints, 15 quart of salsa, 20 pints, 11 quarts of pasta sauce, 17 pints chunked tomatoes (for chili) and 10 pints tomato juice (for chili)
anyways the tomato juice turned out way to salty which is why its for chili..... last year my wife made some tomato juice and it was awesome.... however since it was an experiment she didnt write it down and completely forgot it.... (she thinks some tobasco sauce, celery salt, chili powder, onion powder was in there)
it tasted like a mildly spicy V8. I need your recipes to make a good tomato juice. it was sooo good and i want a bunch for this year to drink.....
