southern QC, Canada | Everyones, I need your expertise on that one.
The field is full (5-10%)of abnormal corn ears like the right ones on the pics. It is scattered through the field, no pattern at all ; 3-4 normals & 1 abnormal ; same row. The cobs is pushed out of the husks and the top is bigger than the base ???
Moreover, the kernel of the normal ears are more mature than the abnormal cobs ? Does the base of the ears didn’t get pollinated ?
Did anyones ever seen that happened ?
