SWOH | Brickyard crowd looks pretty sparse. Not really that surprised after the tire mess a few years ago but it kinda looks like the Indy 500 crowds in the late 90's-early 2000's. Maybe Nascar will figure out how boring of a race the Brickyard is....I love the track and I've been to the 400 twice and the 500 8 or 9 times, but the 400 is usually about as boring as it can get, next to the 2 Pocono races. I don't think I'd go back to the 400 even if they gave me tickets. It's not a stock car track. I'd pay to watch Tony, Kahne, Blaney, Jeff Gordon, Robby Gordon, Allmendinger, Mears, Newman, Schrader, Hornish, and Montoya go back to open wheel and run the 500 though. | |
