Broome County NY | spent my afternoon with a amish friend putting hay in his barn and WOW am I glad I'm not amish...
went with him to rake then his 13 and 10 year old sons came with another team pulling a wagon and a hay loader and 2 forks.
the 13 year old finished raking and the 10 year old drove the wagon and loader and the father and me forked the hay around the wagon
I'm just amazed how the loader worked. From the field we took the wagon load of hay back to the barn and used the hay hook to put it up in the mowe with the extra help from his 2 young doughters. sure wish my kids worked that hard with no complanets...... | |
