Subject: I am in the wrong business: Sweet Corn

As my son has grown, now 10 and very active on the faqrm, not video games and swimming pools, finished his sweet corn patches today.

Of course, all production was up to me, marketing up to him, and we helped pick and sack.

2 plots, 1/2 ac each, one was 50% Ambrosia and 50% G-90 and the other plot was Syngenta 805 Bt/LL All planted 4x1 skips, the ambrosia/g90 sprinkler irrigated and the Bt was furrow irrigated.

The Ambrosia/G90 at $3/dz or $10 for a crawfish sack +/-40 ears gave $1925 and the other gave $2780, and we left some for some scavenger to pick.

Expenses were not kept up with, nor do I care, but that is one happy kid sitting on a brand new Honda Rancher 420 4x4.
