I can't tell you when it was planted except "before" the March 30 deadline. This is the first time trying to notill alfalfa. hired a guy with a truax drill to sow it at 20 to 22 lbs per acre and about one to one and half bushels of oats per acre. we have notilled this field for six years so lots of residue will make it interesting.
