In the May 11 supply/demand report, the USDA will take it's first stab at the 11/12 supply demand report, and that requires putting a yield number into the grid.....

could be interesting given current forecasts which lean toward this not being a year classified as "early planting" which sometimes causes them to put yield at midpoint or higher...

A sharp rally in corn next couple of weeks may provide the first serious disconnect between corn, crude oil, and ethanol since the rally started last summer....

blenders are doing quite well right now---the pressure will be on ethanol producers
