USA | Bought all a parts store had couple months ago for $159.50 for 30 lbs. Next batch was $250, now their price would be $300 and can't get any. Looks like about 600% inflation for a 12 month period, if it keeps this up.
Little example of how parking ones money after something is sold, is probably going to make more differnce than selling price, yield, input cost, or land cost. When it comes to effect on ones farming operation.
15,000 bu of $6 corn =$90,000.
Would have bought 1800 lbs of 134 @ $5 lb in Feb. In 2 months time $90,000 would have turned into $180,000. Say 134 doubles again in the next few months and a person sells it for $360,000. Decides that $10 gal Glyphosate is a good price and buys 36,000 gal. Glyphosate, price goes to $20 in the next 18 months = $720,000 from the $90,000 corn sale.
