When using the "QuickStart" feature on the Seedstar hydraulic drive, how far will you have to move w/the planter before the meters turn, or how far will you go 'til seeds hit the furrow? I think book says you need a minimum of 1.5 mph...right?

I also assume you cannot operate the planter manually while sitting still more than the 1/2 rotation or whatever that "prime" feature is? Years ago we had a Rawson drive & you could run the planter for minutes at a time if you wished while the planter was raised & not moving forward. I assume this is NOT possible w/the JD hyd drive? This is a new planter.
