Subject: Backpack GPS?

39.48, -82.98

I do a lot of hiking and would like to map some trails before the trees leaf out and we get busy in the field. I have an old iPAQ with a NAVMAN but want to use a better antenna and also have my hands free. The antenna/receiver from the combine would work, I think, so long as it is NMEA out. But it uses a PD9 connector, while the iPAQ has this skinny little port. (I don't know what it is called but might be able to dig up the literature.)

I was wondering whether anyone else has done this and where you found an adapter for it. Thx.
