| We are looking at putting Cell site Rtk on our planter tractor. the initial cost is around 25k. i know the next planter we get (next year probably) we will be putting row shutoffs on. but what else will help pay for the cost. How much money does variable rate seeding save a person? how much does it cost to put variable rate and shutoffs on a new planter. probably looking at a CCS 24 row deere. thanks for the input. just trying to convince the old man this is the way of the future and it can pay for itself.
